As part of my profession, I want to raise the awareness of keeping the conversation going, and supporting each other through our respective journeys.
I especially believe in the value of building strong connections with like-minded people.
It has been reported that having strong inter-personal connections is one of the top drivers and motivators in business and life. People want to feel seen, heard and be part of something bigger.
Building Strong Relationships
At home, the people you have relationships with might include
Your partner/spouse,
Your children,
Family members,
Parents,
Siblings,
Friends,
Acquaintances,
Teachers,
People in your circle - this might be part of a club, group, school or other community.
In the workplace, however, many owners lack the support of others who are in the same position. They do it alone, without a sounding board and without the help of others.
How can you strengthen the relationships you have with the people around you in your business?
Colleagues,
Team members,
Partners,
Customers,
Suppliers,
Strategic alliances,
Mentors, and
The wider community...
