Strategic Planning day
Yesterday we kicked of our 2022 planning with our valued clients.
It was delightful to work with such a motivated proactive group of business owners who were prioritising the day to work on their business.
During the session, our clients
- Updated their business plans and rejigged their targets
- Looked at their goals and breaking them down into SMARTER goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timeframe, Extending & Rewarding)
- Developed a 90 Day Plan for Success
- Brainstormed and shared strategies for success
- Learned some tips on breaking old habits and developing new positive habits
Some of the strategies they walked away with to develop over the next month were:
- Get the team involved in management meetings for full transparency
- Develop a cadence around customer communication
- Allocate daily time to find new lead sources
- Follow up introductions and speak to decision makers
- Schedule weekly team meetings
- Outsource all marketing
- Test and measure reports
- Focus on the start line, not the end result (when feeling overwhelmed)
- Recruit senior (more experienced) team members
- Develop system to improve internal communication
- Develop and stick to a default diary
- Reconcile sales pipeline and track data trends
